Here's the Old Ball & Chain, my wife Joan. We've been married ten years and I'm very happy, very happy. She's a Mormon. That's right, a Mormon. Next week I'm marrying her sister.

Joan is a native of Ogden, Utah. She and Rodney met at her flower shop in California in 1982. Joan is the founder of Jungle Roses and also owned Childs of London, Ltd. and Fleurs du Jour in Santa Monica before becoming Rodney's wife in 1993. This photo was taken in June 2003 by Jerry Avenaim for a billboard campaign in her home town.
