I studied Rodey for years, I new every Joke he told, I worked at a Shipyard in the tool room, I would always do "Rodney"-..for years ...it would just bust 'em up...if only you (& he) knew the smiles and happyness he would bring to people working in such a horriable, dredfull place, he was every working man's savoir..Obvously, God needed a jester seeing the world the way it is today-LongTallTerry

Thanks for all of the gut busting laughs. Rest in Peace. Joan, may the Guardian Angels continue to watch over you and give you the strength needed to stay strong, find of mind and mend your heart from your loss. Love and Blessings

How do I even begin to express the loss I feel..not only of the worlds greatest comedian but also in my heart one of the most generous and kind men this world has ever known. A man that would fly doctors across the country to help an ill family member ...a man that would make sure his extended family had everything they wanted. Not only a man of vision for comedy and new talent, but a man that loved Joan and made her happier then we ever have seen her. A man that loved his family and folks all around him...you have always had my respect Rodney. And I know now when the rain falls from the heavens it is because you are telling them jokes and have the angels rolling in tears....Bless you Rodney and here is a big ok sign for you..love you and miss you....

Watching you in the movies and on TV really inspired me. Although I'll never have the impact you had on people the world over, I hope my comedy routine will be at least a quarter of of the respect you got. RIP man, I bet you're getting your respect now.

Rodney, my man, I miss you so very much. We all gotta' go, but it really hurts sometimes. At least I was lucky, along with millions of others, to hear & see your comedic genius. Save a seat for me in Heaven, close to the stage. I would love to see your act up there!! Bye for now...

Rodney - you havemy respect for the rest of my natural life. You were one of the funniest men who ever lived and will be imitated, but never replaced forever !!

Quito,
Siento mucho la muerte de Rodney, disfruté mucho de sus películas, me dio tristeza saber que murió. Ojalá nos de grandes alegrías en su proxima vida. Guido
