I was nine when my Dad passed. This guy comes on Carson and I it just made me realize that with humor you can get through anything. Yes, even at nine I got alot of his stuff. Thanks Rodney, and God Bless

My deepest sympathies to Mr Dangerfield's family on the passing of Rodney. I was truly saddened when i heard the news. Rodney is already missed by all who laughed at his fantastic sense of humor.

I was struck with grief to hear that such a great man was lost. I shall miss Mr. Dangerfield greatly as the rest of the public shall. He will always have respect in my heart. Rest in peace my friend and God bless your family.

ATTN: Joan Dangerfield, family, friends and fans of Rodney!: Don't miss the little snippet on the dvd of "Aladdin", where The Genie, (Robin Williams) does a spoof of Rodney! Put in disc 1 of the movie. Go to CH 15. At 54:02, the Genie is playing chess with the magic carpet. He tells the carpet to move. Genie says, that's some move. Then a close-up on the Genie, and he morphes into Rodney, grabs his necktie and says in Rodney voice:" I can't believe it! I'm losing to a rug!" Perfect!! Just hysterical!! Check it out. Aram.

My dad and I really never got along when I was younger. There were only 2 things he and I could talk about. Baseball & Rodney. As baseball is our national pastime, Rodney has always been and always will be our national comic.
