I have been a fan of Rodney's for years. I recently purchased the book and I am almost finished with it, but I am trying to find the surprise balloon cartoon. Could you please direct me to it or send it to me. My deepest sympathies, Mike.

I'm 43 years young. There are a lot of 1st class comidians, but Rodney has always been my favorite. His humor was how most people feel, but rarely talt about. Rodney liked helping people, and that's what life's about. When life's troubles bring me down, Rodney's material always cheers me up.

I respected him. Mr dangerfield was onf the finest comedians ever. There have been many times when I eeeded a good laugh to pick my spirits up whenever I was down in the dumps--so to speak-- and Mr Dangerfield's brand of humor was one of the things that would make me feel better about things. Even if I heard some of the same jokes over and over again--until I got tired of hearing them--he still managed to cheer me up. Two oof the movies that he starred in that I consider to be among my favorites were "Back to School" and Caddyshack". I always crack up whenever I think of things he said in them, like jokes about 'Vanessa, Giorgio and the midget,' Or the joke about someonestepping on a duck! If ever I'm in need of a a hearty laugh, I always repeat some of these things to my friends--or even to myseelf whenever I am by myself--and I always laugh. I, too, shall miss him greatly. With respect, Glenn R. Braatz Milwaukee County, Wisconsin (Red tie and white shirt notwithstanding.)

Went to library tonight with son who only knows Rodney as Al in Caddyshack. He was doing homework, I sat and read "It's not easy bein' me" I was in tears laughing. Had to move to the loud side of the library. Read the whole book which leads me to this site looking for the Japanese cartoon. I grew up with Rodney on Ed Sullivan and Carson and watched as my parents laughed hysterically. It made me happy to see them happy and yet I really didn't have a clue at the time what RD was saying. He was class and sadly another one of the greats who has left us. But I can't wait to have that front table in heaven!
